If I were tell you all the things I do in a single day at the office your mind would be spinning from the thousands of tiny details that I must cram into what seems like a very short amount of time. My office, in case you are wondering, is my home and I’m a modern day version of June Cleaver, with leopard print heels and pearls, who rules the roost with a toddler attached to my leg and a cup of coffee (or cold beer depending on the time) in my hand. My fuzzy pink robe is what you’ll most likely see me wearing when you stop by for a visit (which ironically doubles as a cape for those days I need my super powers) and my friends actually want me to auction it off for charity.

My life revolves around a family of six that includes raging hormonal teens and a toddler who insists I go with her every time she runs to the bathroom. I feel compelled to tell you my life story simply because it's that comedy show everyone lives. It's good to know you aren't alone in this crazy world of motherhood!

Please follow the trials and tribulations of motherhood through me. Stop by and tell me what you think now and again. And don't forget to laugh at life because even the most chaotic moments will pass with only a little trepidation only to be forgotten with the next booger on the wall, sock on the floor or new organic dessert baking in the oven.

I was a part of an exclusive group of influencers to attend a private “Day of DOVE®” tour and tasting experience at the DOVE® Chocolate Center of Excellence in Elizabethtown, PA.  It was amazingly tasty to be a DOVE Influencer and you can read all about it on the blog.

I've worked with Disney as a Disney Blog Ambassador and was able to film a web commercial for Vaseline and then went on tour with the Vaseline Dry Skin Patrol and had the time of my life!

I've been featured in the NY Times, People Magazine, WNC Magazine, Real Simple, Duluth News Tribune, other assorted print ads and live TV.

  • I’ve been a blogger for over eight years at The Adventures of Supermom (dot com)and all of a sudden all my hard work went poof and Google blacklisted me. Then I began to wonder what in the world was I was doing? Do people really like things to be sugar coated so their feelings are protected? Well, this whole experience has pissed me off and hurt me deeply. Hence this new blog.

  • On a whim I made myself a personal challenge and that was to read Marilyn Monroe's personal library that was sold in a Christie's auction many years ago. Not only will it be amazing reading all of this old lit but it will be fun finding these books as a lot are out of print. I've always been a lover of books and just think of all the knowledge and great literature that I will be inhaling through my senses! I hope you follow along in this personal challenge and even pick up a book to enjoy!

  • I write about the day to day life of a family of six. I believe in eating organic and homemade cooking. I enjoy sharing tips on how to save money while buying organic. I often refer to myself as June Cleaver with leopard print heels and pearls. I filmed a Vaseline webfilm that can be found on my site with my family about my love for Vaseline Intensive Rescue Lotion. Then I was LUCKY enough to travel with Vaseline on their Dry Skin Patrol to places like Philly for a marathon, Aspen for skiing, NYC for the Polar Bear Plunge and Duluth for dogsledding. I was a part of an exclusive group of influencers to attend a private “Day of DOVE®” tour and tasting experience at the DOVE® Chocolate Center of Excellence in Elizabethtown, PA. Social Media Consultant

  • That Girl Who Blogs
  • May 1, 2013 - Current
  • I’ve started That Girl Who Blogs so I can help you, as in local companies; spread the word through social media like Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest. I know how time consuming it can be to change a Facebook status, add a picture, tweet something to your peeps and pin a few pictures on Pinterest when you are busy running a company. That’s where I come in; my business is doing all of that for you! I will even take random pictures to post through your networks as well; you can see my photography on the front page. My prices are reasonable and they even include face to face meetings once a week to plan everything that will be posted during that week so we can make sure that everyone is on the same page and all your expectations are being met. For an added fee I can help you run contests on your Facebook so you can get more fans and spread the word all about your company.
