How to get your Google Business review link
Need the link customers can use to leave you a Google review? This guide shows the fastest way to get it, plus step-by-step help if things don’t behave as expected.
In a hurry?
If you just need the link quickly, this is the most reliable approach:
- Open Google Maps
- Search for your business name
- Open your business listing
- Tap Write a review
- Use Share and copy the link
If that doesn’t work as expected, follow the full guide below.
Google doesn’t provide one obvious “review link” button, and the link you get can vary depending on whether you’re using Search, Maps, desktop, or mobile.
The goal is simple: give customers a link that opens your business listing with a clear path to Write a review, especially on their phone.
Method 1: Get your review link from Google Search
This method works well on desktop and is often the quickest.
-
Search for your business on Google
Include your town or area if needed. -
Find your business profile
On desktop, this usually appears on the right-hand side. - Scroll to the reviews section
-
Click “Write a review”
This opens the review prompt. -
Copy the page URL
Test it on your phone to make sure it opens correctly.
Method 2: Get your review link from Google Maps
This is the most consistent option, especially for mobile users.
-
Open Google Maps
Use the app or visit maps.google.com. - Search for your business
- Open your business listing
- Tap “Write a review”
-
Tap “Share” and copy the link
This version usually works best across devices.
If you have more than one location, repeat this process for each listing.
Common issues (and how to fix them)
The link opens Google but not the review box
- Make sure you copied the link after clicking Write a review.
- Test the link on mobile, not just desktop.
- Try the Google Maps share link instead.
I can’t find my business
- Add your town or postcode to the search.
- Search by phone number or address.
- Check that your Google Business Profile is verified and live.
I manage multiple locations
- Each location has its own Google listing.
- You’ll need a separate review link for each one.
Optional: use the re.vu Google review link finder
If you’d rather avoid trial and error, re.vu includes a tool that helps you find your Google review link by searching your business listing directly.
Why do I need to be logged in?
This tool uses Google’s Places search. To prevent abuse and control API usage,
searches are only available to logged-in re.vu users.
A free account is enough — no card required.
Create a free re.vu account to use the Google review link finder. Prefer not to sign up? The manual steps above work just fine.
One last tip
Once you’ve found your Google review link, keep it somewhere easy to reuse — email templates, invoices, QR codes, or your re.vu page, where customers can choose where to leave a review.
The easier it is for customers to leave a review, the more likely they are to do it.
