1. Who we are

re.vu is a trading name of Review There Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales.

Company number: 16998024
Registered office: 71–75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ

Throughout these Terms:

  • “we”, “us”, “our” refer to Review There Ltd trading as re.vu.
  • “you”, “your” refer to the account holder, business or user of the service.

By creating an account, using a re.vu link, ordering a card or using any part of the service,
you agree to these Terms.

2. The service

re.vu provides short review links, NFC review cards and related account tools for businesses.

The service may include:

  • A free re.vu link that redirects customers to your Google review page.
  • A physical NFC and QR review card that uses your re.vu link.
  • A paid Pro account that turns your re.vu link into a review profile with multiple supported review platforms, activity tracking, branding and account tools.
  • Optional setup, card, branding or support services where offered.

The exact features available to you depend on your account type, order and current plan.
Features and pricing are shown at the point of signup or purchase.

We do not own, control or operate third-party review platforms such as Google, Facebook,
Trustpilot, Tripadvisor, Reviews.io or similar services.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and authorised to act on behalf of the business, organisation
or person represented by the re.vu link.

The service is intended primarily for business use. If you use the service as a consumer,
certain statutory rights may still apply.

4. Accounts, links & access

  • You are responsible for keeping your access links, login details and account email secure.
  • You must provide accurate and up-to-date information.
  • You are responsible for all activity carried out through your account.
  • You must only claim or use a re.vu link that you are authorised to use.

Your re.vu link is not a transfer of ownership. We provide access to use the link as part of the
service, subject to these Terms.

We may refuse, rename, suspend, reclaim or remove a re.vu link if we reasonably believe it:

  • impersonates another business, person or organisation;
  • infringes rights belonging to someone else;
  • is misleading, offensive, unlawful or inappropriate;
  • has been registered in bad faith;
  • is unused, dormant or abandoned under these Terms.

5. Free links and dormant accounts

Free re.vu links are intended for active use by businesses that want a simple Google review link.

A free account or free re.vu link may be treated as active when the public re.vu link is visited
at least once within a 12-month period.

If a free re.vu link is not visited for 12 months or more, we may treat it as dormant. Dormant
free links may be suspended, removed, redirected, archived or made available for someone else to
claim.

We are not required to send a reminder, warning or dormant-account email before taking action on
an unused free link.

Paid accounts and paid card orders may have different retention or access rules depending on the
product purchased and your current plan.

6. Subscriptions, fees & payments

  • We may offer free links, one-off purchases and paid subscription plans.
  • Paid subscriptions renew annually unless cancelled before renewal.
  • One-off purchases, such as review cards or setup services, do not automatically create a subscription unless clearly stated.
  • Prices and features are displayed at the point of purchase.
  • Payments are processed securely by third-party payment providers.

6.1 Annual billing & plan changes

Paid subscription plans are billed annually unless stated otherwise. A paid plan remains active
until the end of the current billing period, unless we suspend or terminate the account under
these Terms.

If you cancel a paid subscription, it will normally remain active until the end of the current
paid billing period and will not renew.

If a Pro subscription ends, your re.vu link may fall back to your Google review destination,
provided a valid Google review link is available in your account.

6.2 Refunds

Subscription fees, setup fees and service fees are non-refundable once the service has started,
unless required by law or agreed by us in writing.

Physical cards are custom-made or personalised for your business. Once production has started,
card orders are non-refundable and non-returnable unless the card is faulty, incorrectly produced
or a refund is required by law.

This does not affect your statutory rights.

6.3 Immediate start of service

When you create an account, order a service, purchase a paid plan or request setup work, you
acknowledge that we may begin providing the service immediately. This may include account access,
link setup, profile setup, card preparation, card production or other work connected with your
order.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • impersonate another business, person or organisation;
  • create confusion or misrepresentation about who you represent;
  • use offensive, misleading, unlawful or inappropriate names or content;
  • use re.vu to solicit fake, incentivised, misleading or unlawful reviews;
  • use re.vu in a way that breaches the rules of any third-party review platform;
  • attempt to disrupt, overload, scrape, abuse, reverse-engineer or interfere with the service;
  • use the service for spam, phishing, fraud or unlawful activity.

We reserve the right to decide what constitutes unacceptable use.

8. Review links, destinations & third-party platforms

  • You are responsible for ensuring any review links, destinations or platform URLs you add are accurate, lawful and appropriate for your business.
  • Third-party platforms may change, restrict, remove or break links at any time.
  • We are not responsible for the availability, behaviour, policies, rankings, review display or decisions of third-party platforms.
  • We do not guarantee that customers will leave reviews or that reviews will be published, visible, positive or retained by any platform.

Where your account redirects directly to Google or another third-party destination, the customer
leaves re.vu and continues on the third-party platform.

9. NFC cards and QR codes

Where physical NFC cards or QR codes are supplied, they are provided to support your review
collection process. They do not guarantee that a customer will leave a review.

9.1 Delivery & risk

  • Delivery times are estimates only.
  • Risk in physical cards passes to you on delivery.
  • You are responsible for checking card details, spelling, logo, colours and QR/NFC behaviour as soon as possible after delivery.

9.2 Custom-made cards

NFC cards supplied by re.vu are made or configured for your business. Because they are custom-made
or personalised, they are non-returnable and non-refundable once production has started, unless
faulty, incorrectly produced or required by law.

9.3 Card behaviour after cancellation, downgrade or plan change

NFC cards and printed QR codes cannot be physically revoked once issued.

If your account changes, expires, downgrades or your Pro subscription ends, your card may continue
to open your re.vu link, but the destination or features available may change according to your
current account status.

For example, a Pro review profile may fall back to a direct Google review redirect if your Pro
subscription ends and a valid Google review link is available.

10. Availability, maintenance & changes

We aim to keep the service available and reliable, but availability is not guaranteed. Maintenance,
updates, third-party outages, technical issues or other interruptions may occur.

We may update, remove, rename or change features, plans, pricing or how the service works. We may
do this to improve the service, manage costs, protect the platform, respond to third-party changes
or comply with legal requirements.

We may also change how links, redirects, tracking, cards, QR codes or account features work,
provided we do not intentionally remove paid features during an active paid period without a
reasonable replacement or remedy.

11. Suspension & termination

We may suspend or terminate access if:

  • you breach these Terms;
  • the service is misused;
  • required payments are not made;
  • your use creates risk for us, other users, third-party platforms or the public;
  • we reasonably believe the account, link or content is misleading, unlawful, harmful or inappropriate.

You may cancel your paid subscription at any time via your account or by using the billing tools
we make available. If you cancel a paid subscription, it will normally remain active until the end
of the current billing period and will not renew.

We may keep limited records after suspension or termination where needed for legal, security,
fraud prevention, accounting or operational purposes.

12. Limitation of liability

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by
negligence, or any other liability that cannot be limited by law.

The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. While we aim to provide a
reliable service, we do not guarantee that use of the service will result in any particular
outcome, including but not limited to the number, content, rating, ranking or visibility of
customer reviews.

You acknowledge that re.vu provides a technical tool only. We do not provide advice, recommendations
or assurances regarding business performance, customer behaviour, search rankings, local SEO
performance, reputation outcomes or review outcomes.

We are not responsible for the availability, functionality, policies, moderation decisions,
ranking decisions or actions of third-party platforms, including review platforms.

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, including loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, business opportunities, data or reputation;
  • our total aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with the service shall be limited to the total amount paid by you to us in the 12 months immediately preceding the claim.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on our website.
Continued use of the service after the Terms are updated means you accept the updated Terms.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes will be subject to the
courts of England and Wales.
